My Story

My name is LaShania Davis, I am a graduate from King Drew Magnet High School in 2014. I also graduated from California State University of Los Angeles with a major in Marketing in 2018. I will also plan on applying for an MBA program focusing on Marketing in fall 2019. I’d like to work in the entertainment field to assist in changing the image and narrative of inner city communities in the media. While taking the time to apply, I am focusing on my mission as the current title holder to reduce the mistreatment of Residents who receive government housing, I currently working on writing a bill of rights type of document to protect low income housing residents from things such as bug infestation and proper plumbing as well as many other miscellaneous tasks needed to upkeep a tenant’s living space. My hobbies include songwriting, poetry and thrift shopping.
