There will be approximately 5-10 contestants in each division
You do not have to have any modeling or pageant experience to compete in this pageant. We will train you.
There are no size, weight, or height requirements to join this pageant. We welcome and encourage all shapes and sizes to apply.
The first step to becoming a contestant is to register on the misscompton.com website so that a representative can contact you to set-up an audition date. You have to make sure you meet all of these requirements below before registering. If you don’t meet all of the requirements, you will not be accepted into this pageant.
  • Must not be married or never been married.
  • If in school, must have a GPA of at least 2.0 or higher Must be a citizen of the United States.
  • Must not have any children, given birth to a child, or cannot be pregnant.
  • Must be of good health and moral character.
  • Must be a naturally born female for the Miss competition & Must be a naturally born male for the Mr. competition
  • Must be between the ages of 18-26 for the Miss & Mr. title & for teen titles 14-18 in high school.
You do not have to live in the City of Compton to run for this title; however, if you do win the Miss or Mr. Compton, or Miss Teen or Mr. Teen Compton title, you will have to do a lot of appearances in the City of Compton and a lot of community services.

You are responsible for providing your own personailty wear, evening wear, opening number outfit, and interview outfit.
Due to the distraction and respect for the other contestants and families, we will not allow personal videotaping at the pageant. Please keep personal camera usage to a minimum. For your convenience, we will have photos and video of the entire pageant available for purchase.
The judge panel will consist of 3 judges for each division. They are all highly respected in their industries that consist of a mixer of community leaders & representatives, business professionals and vary of individuals in the modeling, pageant, radio, and TV industry. They will also have no personal or professional connection with any of the contestants that are competing for scores. Bios on each judge will be available in pageant program.
After each round, an auditor will add the score sheets and then determine the average score for each contestant. The contestants with the highest scores in each age division will be that division winner. The 1st and 2nd runners up will also be acknowledged. The contestant with the overall highest score will be the overall winner for the pageant. We do not issue score sheets, but if you would like to know scores, you may email us at info@misscompton.com within two weeks of the pageant.
You can purchase tickets online @ www.misscompton.com or from a pageant staff.
Yes you can purchase tickets at the door; however we have a limited amount of seats, therefore if there are no more tickets left, then we will have no more seats available.
The VIP tickets are the tickets that guarantees you the seats closest to the stage. General admission tickets are all the other seats that are left. In the VIP section there will also be other community leaders, and current and past titleholders.
If you bought your tickets online, your tickets will be placed on will call under the name of the person that purchased the tickets from the website. You will be able to pick up your tickets the day of the pageant, August 12th at will call
You are able to purchase as many seats as you will like. All seats are first come first served. Once we run out of seats, there will be no more seats available.
Doors open at 12pm, therefore you are able to pick outa seat in the section of seating you purchase, either VIP or General Admission starting at 12pm.
